It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Harmening of Belle Plaine, Minnesota, born in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, who passed away on September 20, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Harmening and Marion Harmening (Burk). He is survived by: his siblings, David Harmening (Jane Richert) of Faribault, MN, Ann Zimansky (James) of Colorado Springs, CO and Mary Longshore (Boyd) of Colorado Springs, CO; his niece Sarah Norway; his nephews, Charles Norway (Mindy), James Longshore (Laurel), Andrew Longshore and Joe Longshore; and his cousins, Dennis Krueger (Jan) and Donald Krueger (Jan). He is also survived by ten great nieces and nephews.
