She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Swanson and Pearl Swanson (Anderson); her former husband Marlyn Wiese; her sister Betty Swanson; her sister-in-law Arvella Zachow-Wiese; and her stepdaughter Kay Dordal.
She is survived by: her husband Al Blanshan of Belle Plaine; her daughter Dawn Kirchner (Bob); her stepchildren, Alan Blanshan (Erin), Dawn Locke, Anne Warren (Mark), Jaye Blanshan, Jacalyn Born, Jody Tuchtenhagen (John), Brad Blanshan (Christina Conway), Pam Turner and Jody Fluken (Ray); and her grandchildren, Dustin Swiers (Shayna), Jesse Swiers and Oscar Davila (Becca). She is also survived by 25 step-grandchildren and 19 step-great grandchildren; other relatives and many dear friends.
