She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred LaFayette and Marie LaFayette (Vandre); her husband Bernie; her great grandchild Quin; and her brothers, Lloyd and Clarence "Buck" LaFayette.
She is survived by: her former husband Bernard Arnold Nicklay; her sons, Gerald Nicklay (Mary) of New Ulm, MN and Roger Nicklay; her grandchildren, Cory Nicklay of Moorhead, MN, Katie Nicklay, Bradley Nicklay (Amber) and Ashley Nicklay; her great grandchildren, Nora and Anja Nicklay; her brother Dave LaFayette (Francine) of Champlin, MN; and her sister-in-law Doris LaFayette of Barnesville, MN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
While maintaining social distancing guidelines, we are now able to accommodate gatherings while abiding to a 50% capacity at the facility. The use of face masks by attendees is required at indoor events, and we will continue taking the necessary steps to keep your families safe.
