It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Bachmann (Barnesville, Minnesota), born in Perham, Minnesota, who passed away on April 6, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Detrick and Marion Lucille Ahrens (Schmidt); her husband Robert "Ed" Bachmann; her son-in-law David Thompson; and her sister Donna Pihl.
She is survived by: her children, Monte Bachmann (Ginny) of Horace, ND, Randy Bachmann (Deb), Ivy Tysver (Chuck) of Barnesville and Shelly Heng (Larry) of Barnesville; her grandchildren, Heidi Anderson (Robert), Travis Walterson (Becki), Stacy Bachmann (Tim Thompson), Gage Bachmann, Jacob Thompson (Kari), Nathan Thompson (Jenny), Cami Gilbertson (Justin), Cory Heng (Ashley), Angela Keeping (Adam) and Mandy Karr-Ake (Mikel); her sister Pam Schwinghammer (Gerry) of Prior Lake, MN; and her niece Joyce. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren.
