She was predeceased by: her parents, John Prefek and Mary Prefek (Horvath); her husband John Svir of Badger; her siblings, Elise Nagy (John), Theresa Kurucz (Joe) and Mike Prefek; and her grandson Jonathan Leslie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Carnegie (Robert), Collen Omdahl (Paul) and Karen Dole (Brett); her grandchildren, Andrew Appel (Heather) and Jessica Appel (Kory); and her great grandchildren, Lilian Violet and Kora Leigh. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
