She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Schoemaker and Elsie Schoemaker (Hermsmeyer); her husband John Beckel; her son Allan Beckel; her brothers, Vernon Schoemaker, Wayne Schoemaker and Willis Schoemaker; and her brothers-in-law, Bernie Kottke and Donald Eckberg.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Beckel (Ann) of The Colony, Larry Beckel (Jean Brandes) of Fridley and Karen Wagner (Bruce) of Stewartville, Minnesota; her daughter-in-law Jean Beckel of Arvada, Colorado; her grandchildren, Michael Beckel, Elizabeth Fitzjarrold, Sarah Stoneman, Rachael Payne, Martha Vu, Andrea Watts and Emily Righter; her siblings, Daryl Schoemaker (Rita), Eleanor Kottke, Ellen Erkel (Floyd) and Darlene Eckberg; and her sisters-in-law, Sally, Gloria and Barabara Schoemaker. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
