It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Walter of Austin, Minnesota, born in Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on May 12, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nyles Hooser and Katherine Van Hooser (Rothamel); her husband Bernard; her daughter Cynthia Schubert; her son-in-law Randy Morris; her sister Mary; her brother-in-law Vern Meyerhofer; and her parents-in-law, Russel and Rose Walter (Heimer).
She is survived by: her children, Paul Walter (Ann) of Lyle, Leanne Morris of Austin, Teresa Bartholomew (Joe) of Austin, Kathleen Davis (Shawn) of Lyle and Brad Walter (Tara) of Lyle; her son-in-law Mike Schubert of Brownsdale; her grandchildren, Kristin, Jeremy, Angela, Justin, Brandon, Kayla, Brittany, Breanna, Courtney, Brooke, Cole and Bentley; and her brother Joe Van Hooser (Ruth) of Austin. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
