He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Dean Hanson; and his brother Donald Hanson. He is survived by: his mother Karen Hanson (Gessner) of Atwater; his wife Sandra Kay Pallum; his brother Cory Hanson (Michelle) of Dassel; his nieces and nephews, Scott Hanson (Christine), Brad Hanson (Samantha), Andrew Hanson, Kylene, Kelseigh, Cameron and Lauren Hanson; and his stepsons, Andrew Pallum and Avery Deterling.
