He is survived by: his grandson Sam; his wife Bobette Schauer of Arlington; his children, Linnea Bullert (Craig) of Arlington, Matthew Schauer (Laura) of Janesville and Anne Rood (Lee) of Rush City; his grandchildren, Michael Bullert (Megan Kauffmann), Samuel Bullert, Lukas Bullert (Megan Eckberg), Ashtyn Bullert, Jaynie Lloyd (Nick), Erik Schauer, Emily Borneke, Erin Borneke and Natalie Rood; his uncle Glenn Schauer of Arlington; his sister-in-law Lois Schauer of Savage; and also, Anita Woehler of Falls Church, VA, Leanna Fluegge (John) of New Ulm, Andrea Brinkman (Todd) of Lafayette and John Woehler (Lana) of Arlington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
