It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Olijnek (Anoka, Minnesota), born in Deer Creek, Minnesota, who passed away on May 11, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reino Salo and Hilma Salo (Jaaska); and her brothers, Arnold and Erwin Salo. She is survived by: her grandson Brad (Casey); her husband Robert Olijnek; her children, Andrea Scheuzger (Tom) and Lance Olijnek (Carolyn); and her grandsons, Bradley Olijnek (Casey) and Bryce Olijnek.
Due to the present COVID pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made in Elaine's name to the Parkinson's Foundation.
