It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Lane Klemz (Anoka, Minnesota), born in Monticello, Minnesota, who passed away on May 14, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Klemz and Margret Klemz (Borchardt). He is survived by: his former wife Theresa Haneca; his wife Nancy Elias; his children, Amy Finka of Nashville, TN, Angela Klemz of Blaine, Allan Klemz of Blaine and Ann Millerbernd of Belcourt, ND; and his children-in-law, Amanda Klemz of Blaine and Ronald Millerbernd of Lexington. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 brothers, 4 sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, family, friends.

He died May 14, 2020 due to Covid-19, while in hospice care after a long battle with cancer.

Doug was there with us as my dad went home to jesus. .i saw a tender side of doug at his wedding that showed his love of singing. He had a huge, welcoming smile.
