He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund and Hilda; and his daughter Renae Munson. He is survived by: his wife Lois; his sons, Miles (Helen) and Ross (Jeanne); his son-in-law Dan Munson; his grandchildren, Donald (Patty), Maralee, Kelley, Mike (Deanna), Aimee, Sara, Ben (Sarah), Krista and Matthew; his son Larry (Sharon); and his grandsons, Nathan (Betsie) and David (Nicole). He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials requested to Peace Lutheran Church or Animal Humane Society.
