She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Goode and Gertis Goode; and her siblings, Lemuel Goode and Joann Goode. She is survived by: her children, Homer, William (Joann), David and Carol Hilyer (Eason); and her siblings, Patricia Sims, Gail Moore and Eades Goode. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
