He was predeceased by: his former wife Penny; his daughter Machelle; and his brothers, David, Vernon and Ronny.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Munson; his children, Joel (Donna) and Melissa Nelson (Mike); his sisters, Lorraine Peterson and Rosella Hanson (Derald); and his stepchildren, Michael Munson (Andi), Karen Asche (Greg) and David Munson (Amy). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Trinity Episcopal Church or Alzheimer's Association.
