He was predeceased by: his parents, Selmer Paulson and Borghild Paulson (Haarstad); his wife Alice "Smay" Paulson; his son Steven Paulson; his siblings, Sanford Paulson and Jocelyn Weiby; his siblings-in-law, Gail Paulson and Ed Weiby; and his father-in-law Orrin.
He is survived by: his sons, Bruce Paulson (Laurie) of Frederic and Mark Paulson (Margaret) of Alexandria; his daughter-in-law Mary (Jerry Lindor) of Morris, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Lisa Selk (Craig), Craig Paulson (Trish), Nicole Leicht (Eric), Sara Sieberer (Brett), Matthew Paulson (Danielle), Adam Paulson (Mindy) and Eric Paulson (Jatelyn); and his great grandchildren, Anna, Joshua Leicht, Alyssa (Sam Lupnow), Cole, McKenna Selk, Bridget, Elizabeth, Shelby Sieberer, Katrina, Natalia, Gabriella, Hadley, Tinsley, Berkley, Dexen, Dansby, Maxwell and Marley Paulson. He is also survived by four cousins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
