He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Rodenwald and Elizabeth Rodenwald (Renneker); his wife Carole Rodenwald; and his brothers, Ralph Dale Rodenwald and Ervin Rodenwald.

He is survived by: his children, Mark Rodenwald (Barb), Todd Rodenwald (Sarah), Gail Hoffmann (Mark), Angela Haux (Matt) and Wade Rodenwald (Tiffany); and his siblings, David Rodenwald (Kristin) of Rochester, Marie Schleppenbach of Albany and LeeAnn Renneker of Avon. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
