He was predeceased by: his parents, Demetril Chavez and Maria Chavez (Zungia); his significant other Shelby Goble; and his siblings, James Chavez, Robert Chavez, Benjamin Chavez, Mary Decker (Chavez), Josephine Reyes (Chavez) and Alice Goode (Chavez).
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Simpkins (Nate) and Joanna Hutchinson (Ron); his grandson Christopher Hutchinson; and his siblings, Daniel Chavez and Grace Mallory (late George). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
