It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Archie T. Carpenter of Ypsilanti, Michigan, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Carpenter and Ethel Sneed; his wife Doris A. Carpenter; and his brothers, Bruce Carpenter and L. E. "Bud" Carpenter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa Carpenter of Ypsilanti, MI, Gwenna Adkins (Gary) of Belleville, MI and Lori Hunter (Duane) of Willis, MI; his grandsons, Matthew Ward, Justin Ward (Brittney) and Darren Hunter; his great grandchildren, Robert Caddell, Justin Ward II, Ella Ward and Wixom Ward; and his siblings, Norma Vance, Louise Smith and Ben Carpenter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
