It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Lee Kaatz (Yale, Michigan), who passed away on May 5, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Bob Barrett and Bill Kaatz; his brother-in-law Bob Lyon; and his cousin Torrey Kaatz. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Scott (Meg), Diann (Phil Garnett), John (Kathy) and Todd (Kelly); his grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth (Will), Ryan (Jennifer), Jillian (Matthew), Natalie (Austin), Chad, Sean, Jenna, Olivia, Nathan and Emily; his great grandchildren, Hattie, Annie, Lydia, Paloma and Noah; his sister Nancy Lyon of Thousand Oaks, CA; his nieces, Patti Chansley and Pam Lyon; and also, Mike and Mark Kaatz.
