He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louis Irish and Ethel Irish (Basner); his stepchildren, Kristy Grieve (Josh), Steven Irish (Jennie), Eric Kovatch (Shaun) and Hope Ann Schram; and his siblings, Bonnie Ritthaler, Allen Heckerthorne (Mary) and George Irish (Sandra).

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to "Wishes of the Family".
