She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hoxie and Mildred Hoxie (Beagle); her husband James Cowles; her siblings, William Hoxie (Pat) and Bev Woller (Bill); her sister-in-law Cathy Hoxie; and her son-in-law Jerry Arnouts.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Arnouts, Timothy Cowles (Sue) and Bill Cowles (Pat); her grandchildren, Angie DeLaRosa (Jesse), Amy Wilks (Keith), Teresa Rogers (Steve), Jason Barnhard (Candi), Raegan Cowles, Brooke Cowles, Justin Cowles, Matthew Cowles (Devon), James Cowles (Krystal), Troy Cowles (Camry) and Christopher Vanderlaan (Lisa); and her brother Bernard Hoxie. She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
