He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Mieczkowski and Genevieve Mieczkowski (Bigos). He is survived by: his wife Janet Mieczkowski (Case); his children, Christopher Mieczkowski (Tricia), Keith Mieczkowski and Alison Smith; his grandchildren, Alex and Stella; and his sister Bernadette Raney. He is also survived by dog or holding a cat in his lap just to make friends.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, restrictions have been implemented that limit the number of people permitted in public buildings.
