He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou "Maija" Johnson; his son Vernon Johnson (Aimee Hatteberg) of Burton, Michigan; and his grandchildren, Lauren Johnson of Elk Grove, Illinois, Wesley Johnson of Burton Michigan, Brendan Johnson of Burton and Cody Hatteberg (Amber) of White Rock.
