It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Frances Burke (White Lake, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on April 23, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwardine Lyons (Peabody) and Francis Lyons (Frank); and her sons, James Burke (Shannon), Dave Bernards of Portland, OR, John Burke (Bonnie) of Grand Rapids, MI and Tom Burke of West Bloomfield, MI..

She is survived by: her sister Anne; her husband Jack Burke; her children, Peggy Holtzman (Randy) of Ann Arbor, MI, Bob Burke (Lori) of McKinney, TX, Sue Curry (Tim) of West Bloomfield, MI, Anne Timossi (John) of Aliso Viejo, CA, Mike Burke (Sally) of Washington Twp and Barbara Fabyan (Mike) of West Bloomfield, MI; and also John Timossi. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Her children and grandchildren visited frequently (until the past 13 months of COVID) and stayed with their sister Anne and brother-in-law John Timossi, who offered great hospitality to all as well as devoted care of our mother/grandmother.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the St. Luke's N.E.W Life Center of Flint, MI, a faith-based community center providing services for women and their families in Flint.
