He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Smoke and Florence Smoke (Kozlowski); and his brother Bruno Smoke, II. He is survived by: his wife Therese; his children, Mary Therese Pilarski (Gary), Anne Marie Smoke (Bailey Matsuda) and Rick Smoke (Amy); and his grandchildren, John Pilarski, Hannah Pilarski (Jake Asbury) and Thomas Pilarski (Julia Anderson).
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may consider memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the World Wildlife Federation, the Audubon Society, or the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
