He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Peavey and Ruth Peavey (Zeller); his wife Harriet; his daughter-in-law Patty Peavey; his granddaughter Stacey; his grandson-in-law Tom LaFleche; and his siblings, Marjorie Traver, Wayne Peavey and Jeannette Dauber.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Peavey (Sandy) of White Cloud, Melody Taylor (David) of White Cloud and Brooke Rayl (Richard) of Northville; his grandchildren, Richard Peavey, Angela Christiana (Greg), Kenneth Peavey, Cynthia Neumann, Eleanor Hill, Carmen Byberg and Richard "Rusty" Rayl Jr. (Danielle); and his siblings, Frances Roe of Battle Creek and Donald Peavey (Doris) of Clearwater, Florida. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
