We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2019, at the age of 76, Robert Stanley Johnston (West Branch, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Johnston and Alice Johnston (Guss); and his brother-in-law Norm Huffman. He is survived by: his wife Ardis Johnston of West Branch; his daughters, Julie Wendtland (Jason) of Rockford, MI and Meredith Anderson (Eric) of Frederic, MI; his grandchildren, Kathryn "Katie", Audrey Wendtland, Ryan and Alaina Anderson; his sisters, Sharon Carlson (Jim) of Gladwin and Mary Ann Huffman-Schneider (Bob) of Fort Wayne, IN; his nephews, Steve Carlson (Kim) and Jeff Huffman (Jessica); and his niece Jodi Clark (Todd).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to any of three foundations: Utica Community Schools Foundation for Educational Excellence, Rockford Education Foundation, or the Crawford AuSable Excellence in Education Foundation.
