He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Krotzer (Huber); his son Rodney Krotzer; his parents, George and Altha Krotzer (Schautz); his siblings-in-law, Charlie Krotzer, Dale Krotzer (Betty), Ed Krotzer (Donna) and Mick Krotzer; his sisters, Evelyn Hoggard (Bob) and Arlene Brabaw; his siblings-in-law, Gerald Huber (Gladys), Rex Huber (Leola), Ronald Huber and Merlene Wixom; and also, George and Grace Huber (Tolles).

He is survived by: his children, Altha Bitler (Allen) of Midland, Roxann Ellis of St. Helen and Mary Krotzer of West Branch; his brother Lloyd Krotzer (Sara); his sisters-in-law, Irene Huber, Alice Huber and Eva Palmer (Philip); his grandchildren, Michelle Kourouma, Tara Jones (Travis), Ashley Bitler (Tom Roberson), Barry Marquiss, Elizabeth LaHaie (Cody) and Bandon Ellis (Brittany); and his great grandchildren, Hawa, Andreanna, Nala, Malachi, Levi, Kaemon, Fiona, Xavier, Allan, Zachary, Alyssah, Kayla, Conner, Pat McQueen, David, Crystal, Danniell and Bob "Grandpa". He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
