He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Rau and Edwina Rau (Walters); and his siblings, Eugene Rau, Maxine Dantzer, Caroline Sheehan, Gerald Rau, Audrey Beauchesne and Kathleen Groulx.
He is survived by: his wife Lyla Rau of West Branch; his daughters, Connie Warren (Michael) of Rose City, MI, Darlene Rau of Gladwin, MI, Angela Beveridge of West Branch and Jean Hollenbeck (Thomas) of West Branch; his grandchildren, Jimmy Warren (Kathy), Jared Warren, Carrie Bodnar (Bo), Steven Bennett (Sarah), Amanda Doty (Matt), Jaycen Warren (April), Samantha Rau-Gassman (Tommy) and Abigail Beveridge; and his great grandchildren, Degen Bednarik, Stevie Kay Bednarik, Lyla Doty, Alora Bodnar, Jacob Doty, Zelda Bodnar, Kaiden Bodnar and Bennett Doty. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
