He was predeceased by: his parents, William Eckert and Donna Eckert (Sischo); his wife Ruth "Toots"; his sons, Randall "Chico" Eckert II and Thomas Lang; his brother Mike Eckert; his brother-in-law William Ross; and his daughter-in-law Rachael Adle.
He is survived by: his children, Tonya Zaneske (John), Tina Eckert of Caro, MI, Kathy Lang of Cheboygan, George Lang (LeaJo) of Harrison and Elizabeth Reupena of Boise, ID; and his siblings, Donna Ross and Bill Eckert (Paula). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
