She was predeceased by: her spouse John Claussen; and her siblings, Johannes Vry, Else Niemeyer, Hildegard Vry and Kathe Schiffner.

She is survived by: her son Rolf Claussen; and her brothers, Hermann Vry and Rudolf Vry.
