She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Elkins and Sarah Elkins (Theodore Bialock); and her siblings, Doris Fishman (Sam) and Harry Elkins (Irene). She is survived by: her children, Sasha of West Bloomfield, MI, Linda (Peter Kohn) of Keezletown, VA and David (Tomoko) of Los Angeles; her grandchildren, Sarah, Emily and Max; her great grandchild Oliver; and her husband Ted. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.

She served twelve years on the board of Saint Joseph's Hospital Foundation.
