With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amelia Rodriguez Escobedo of West Bloomfield, Michigan, born in Corpus Christi, Texas, who passed away on August 6, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ignacio Rodriguez and Ernestina Munoz; her children, Anna and Bernardo Escobedo; and her grandson Marcus Emmons.
She is survived by: her husband Elias J. Escobedo Jr.; her children, Elias III Escobedo (Meredith), Jesse Escobedo (Catherine) and Jessica Emmons (Archie); her grandchildren, Elias Escobedo IV, Alyssa Foyt (A. J.), Joshua Escobedo, Jayson Escobedo, Deavon Larner (Eric) and Michael Emmons; her great grandchildren, Abbott Foyt, Arelio Foyt and Natalie Larner; and her siblings, Lamar Miramontes (Jacobo), Arturo Rodriguez (late Sylvia), Alicia Guerrero (Omar) and Louis Rodriguez (Kelle). She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Solanus Casey Center or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
