It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Aldrich (Washington, Michigan), born in Brewer, Maine, who passed away on August 16, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Rideout and Joseph Rideout; her siblings, Eleanor Butler, Ruth Schaefer and Joseph Rideout, Jr.; and her stepson Lyle Aldrich.
She is survived by: her husband Richard De Shook; her grandchildren, Will Wojcik Shook of Portugal, Jem Marquette (Chris), Leah Bousamra (Ryan) of Dearborn, ML, Wendy Horton Bierema (Bryon) of Kalamazoo, Christine Horton Mitchell (David) of Kalamazoo, Tracy Hausman (Perry) of Kalamazoo and Tim McCracken of Kalamazoo; her great grandchildren, Violet Humphreys (Elliot Gonzalez) of Kalamazoo, Zoe Bierema of Kalamazoo, Carter of Kalamazoo, Mackenzie Hausman of Kalamazoo, Andrew, Kaitlyn Marquette and Elise Bousamra of Dearborn, MI; and her great great grandchild Isa Gonzalez.
