He was predeceased by: his father Leo Susalla; his son Brian; his grandson Peter Houbeck; his sons-in-law, Les Kaminski and Mike Swidwinski; and his siblings, Harold (Betty), Gerald, Lillian Abraham (James), Jeanette Goniwiecha (Richard) and Magdalene Grifka (Lloyd).
He is survived by: his children, Mary Jo Kaminski of Rockford, Stephen (Cheryl) of Columbus, Cynthia Turner (Barry) of Clinton Township, Lynn Houbeck (Dennis) of Chesterfield, Lois Rumpz (Douglas) of Muskegon, Kevin (Allison) of Sterling Heights and Robert of Washington Township; his grandchildren, Michael Kaminski (Jill), Brian Kaminski (Jordan), Lindsey McFarland, Jessica Hardin (Ken), Leanne Turner, Steven Houbeck, Matthew Houbeck (Kristen), Katherine Woods (AG), Sheila Tjapkes (late Dustin), Adam Rumpz (Kurstin), Emily Seevers (Yoni), Conner Susalla, Olivia Susalla, Mitchell Susalla, Logan Susalla and Joseph Susalla; his siblings, Kenneth (Ruth), Eugene (Diane), Margaret Musinski (Don) and Katherine Veeser (Chuck); and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Gentner, Shirley Susalla and Marilyn Bornais. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews.
