He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Dunbar and Rosa Dunbar; and his sisters, Irene and Gloria. He is survived by: his wife Sally; his children, Dennis (Sherry), Tina Phillips (Donald), Scott (Rhonda Pilecki) and Sheree Parker (Scott); and his grandchildren, Samantha (Dan), Andrew (Amanda), Ashley (David), Angie (Christopher), Donald, Kathryn, Christopher and DJ.

His philanthropic spirit shone through as he dedicated time to charity work for disabled children, leaving a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
