She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Burson and Betty Burson (Gardeneer); her siblings, Robert of Louise, KC, Mike and Marlene; and her pet Sergeant Carter.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Burgess; her children, Jason Jukes (Brittany) and Kristen Shannon (Brian); her stepchildren, Joe, Lauren and Grace; her sister Peggy Baldwin; and her mother-in-law Claudia Burgess. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren.
