He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonathan Martin and Ida Mae Sturgeon (Goode); and his brothers, Albert and Martin Sturgeon. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mae Shoup; and his children, Mark Sturgeon (Sherri) of Mattawan, Paul Sturgeon of Henderson, NV, Karen Lewkowski of Lakeland, FL, David Stanton (Sue) of Sturgis, Johnna Sturgeon (Kevin Maves) of Vicksburg and Joanna Sturgeon (T. J. Sibert) of Vicksburg. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Nazarene Compassionate Ministries.
