She is survived by: her former husband Fred DeYoung; her daughter Sheryle Novencido-Sage (Bruce) of Mendon; her stepchildren, Mark Cooley of Kalamazoo, Kevin Cooley of Kalamazoo, Ted Cooley of Kalamazoo and Kim Smith (Jeff) of Vicksburg; her grandchildren, Jim Novencido (Sara), Jeremiah Novencido (Megan), Travis Sage (Jami), Shauna Dantzler (Chris), Mike DeYoung (Melanie), Chelsea DeRyke (Nick), Katie Cosby, Dustin Finley and Alexis Smith; and her sisters, Arlene Miller, Geraldine Fries and Bonnie Russell. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
