He is survived by: his wife Annie C Austin (Stephens); his children, Sylvia Cassell of Michigan, Joseph Austin Jr. of Georgia, Archer Austin of Ohio, Samuel Austin (Edna) of Texas, Gerald Austin of Arizona, Rouxanne Austin of Michigan and Raymond Austin (Trudy) of Michigan; and his brothers, Eugene Seals (Joyce) of Michigan and Richard Seals (Coreane Campbell) of Florida. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
