She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth; her siblings, Hedwiges (James), Estella (Clarence) and Edwin; and her siblings-in-law, Gladys, Evelyn, Arnold, Marvin, Robert, Walter, Richard, Alvin, Irene, Joyce, Marion, Harold, Dorothy and Carol.

She is survived by: her children, Ken (Patti), Tom (Pat), Ron (Margaret), John (Diane) and Jerry (Kelly); her grandchildren, Jason (Jessica), Jessica (Brian), Tara (Scott), Alicia (Scott), Michael Eddie (Kristin), Peter (Jamie), Ashley (Dominic), Christine, Erica (Dominic), Avery, Alivia, Benjamin, Joshua, Liliana, Olivia, Jeremy Joseph, Jacob, Angelina, Samantha, Emma, Addilyn, Ariella, Connor, Aurora, Nico, Evan and Joseph; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley, Ellen, Judy and George.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Marie's honor would be appreciated to Wellbridge of Romeo, 375 South Main Romeo, MI 48065.

“Mrs. Thoel had been on my mind this week. I was going to call her like I did every few months. We had many summer weeks at Hubbard Lake when Mary Lou talked me into renting from her for one week. That renting ended up being several years of more renting and in making memories for my family. Always lots of fun. S’mores and popcorn around a fire at night,, pontoon boat rides , playing table games and sharing meals. Will miss her! Ed Fencyk Family”
