She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph; her granddaughter Ashley Rose Capolina; and her siblings, Josephine Dailey, Richard "Bud", William Carey (late Bea), Tom, Bob, Jerry Carey, Ila Piklor and Terrance Carey.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Shelton (late Stevie Miller) and Joey Capolina; her grandchildren, Sarah Marie Watson (Joshua), Stephanie Kathleen Shelton (Phil Franks), Joseph Aaron Capolina, Matthew Joseph Shelton (Rachael), Deborah Joyner-Miller (Dee) and Stevie Miller Jr.; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Marie Watson, Mia Rose Shelton, Nevaeh Marie Jenkins, Dennis Tolomei, Jimmy Tolomei and Anthony Asher; and her sister-in-law Rosie "Mimi" Adams.
