She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Barney and Edith Barney; and her sisters-in-law, Sally Redeker and Ruth Vogel. She is survived by: her husband Howard; her sons, Tim Boettcher (Sharon) and Tom Boettcher (Lisa); her mother-in-law Laura Boettcher; and her sister-in-law Jane Decker (Jim).

Donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
