He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Mathew and Ruth Mathew; and his brother Clifford Mathew. He is survived by: his pet Oscar; his wife Kathy Mathew; his sons, Jim Mathew (Erica) and Adam Mathew (Taryn); his granddaughter Evelyn; and his siblings, Doug Mathew (Carol), Vivian Mathew, Sheila Herbst (Artie), Cheryl Aldred (Mike), Joe Mathew (Terri) and Mike Mathew (Debbie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
