He was predeceased by: his father Charles Stewart; and his brother Rick. He is survived by: his children, Jake and Samantha; his wife Janelle (Niemann); and his sister Jan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in the name of Rob Stewart to the Edwardsburg Soccer Boosters.
