He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Jachcik; his children, Julie Ann Parsons (Mathew) of St. Clair Shores, Joseph Popiel of Sterling Heights and Michael Popiel (Heather) of Ruth; his grandchildren, Justin, Autumn Rose, Leah Rain, Nolan Parsons and Myles Popiel; his sister Elizabeth Reynolds; and his brother-in-law Stanley Wiercioch.
