She was predeceased by: her father Theodore Shubert; her husband Haven Maurer; her sister Raymonda Beaver; and her brothers-in-law, Orval Beaver and Donald Waddell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Maurer, Mary Maurer (Jim Pollum) and Kathy Kociba (Robert); her granddaughters, Amanda Klemmer and Andrea Ajlouni (Philip); and her sisters, Lillian Rooney (Gary), Angeline Waddell, Springfield and Ill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Caroline requested that memorial donations be made to either the Hospice Angels Foundation or Macular Degeneration Foundation.
