He was predeceased by: his mother Gania Rode (Chase). He is survived by: his father Joseph Gerard; his siblings, Mike Rode of Kalamazoo, MI, Debbie Postma (Randy) of Florida and Anne Mitchell (Robert) of Arkansas; his aunts, Louise Kane and Barb Bonham (Mel); and his nieces and nephews, Cary Postma, Jordan Mitchell, Morgan Mitchell, Amanda Rode and Chad Rode. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
