She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles "Chick" Rennie and Margaret Anderson; her husband Jerome Nelson; her daughter Mary Rockwood; her siblings, John Rennie and Martha Flynn; and her stepfather Carl Anderson.
She is survived by: her son John D. Nelson; her grandchildren, James Nelson, William Rockwood, Elizabeth John and Matthew Nelson; her great grandchildren, Jaclynn Laisure, Scott John (Jade), Megan Halleck (Dan) and Claire Nelson; and her great great grandchild Aiden John. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
