He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irving Charles Shaw, Sr. and Olive Mackey Shaw; his wife Lois Carroll Hoffman Shaw; his children, John W. Shaw and Alix Anne Shaw; his daughter-in-law Linda Kramer; his grandson Jia-Ji Shaw; and his former wife Lois Lane.
